The chemex filters are 20 - 30% heavier than traditional coffee filters. They even remove the finest sediments and particles as well as the unwanted oils and fats. The filtering is therefore controlled - not too slow or too fast. Remember to rinse the filter well before brewing! It will remove “paper flavor” from the coffee as well as provide a smooth extraction.
These filters are suitable for both 6, 8 and 10 cups of Chemex.
