Over time from making great coffee the silicone rubber gasket starts to break down allowing air leakage around the edges. Instead of buying a whole new aeropress you can simply replace it with a new gasket and it will brew like new again.
Roaster Tip
We recommend taking off the gasket every few months and give it a good clean. Coffee oils do build up underneath which can be rancid.
